The present day Guildhall building was constructed sometime between 1411 and 1430, although its medieval walls, porch and crypt at the west end of Guildhall Yard, date from the thirteenth century.

Guildhall: The great hall is used for ceremonial and civic occasions and measures 152' by 49' 6". The ancient stonework has faint traces of decoration; indicating that the walls in medieval times were brightly painted with decorative gilding. The oak pannelled roof has been replaced 5 times and the stone arches were restored after the Blitz of WW2.

The LondonEye is the biggest observation wheel in existence in the world! It is 135 metres in height, weighs 2,100 tons and on a clear day the views across London are extended to an incredible range of 25 miles!!.
